I personally really like the change even through the image (double tailed siren) doesn't have any coffee associated with it. I like the simplicity and the brands courageous leap by dropping the text (burn you typographers!).
Ridiculously high speed camera's were used to shoot this campaign for Canon's Pixma ink printer brand. I wonder if this can be done at home. Seems so simple but very unique. I love those colours. These images were shot by photographer Linden Gledhill and Dentsu London.
As you saw from the previous post, graphic design is just not meant for me. I have lots of ideas but don't have the technical skill to execute it. Guess Adobe is on my summer to do list :( Anyway, this is an exercise from the same annoying course. We had to make a book/pamphlet using folds rather than binds. Now when people ask me why I don't like my course, THIS is why.
We had to do a quick assignment in school for our studio session where we had to read an article and make a book cover for a hypothetical book related to the article. I have so much more to do so this is a draft.
I chose the article on the masks and put it in today’s context of beauty and image. I made a hypothetical book cover on a that talks about the masking of natural beauty today in order to conform to a commercialized view on beauty that is accepted in most societies. The front has a woman in a beauty mask and the back shows the same woman with cucumber made to look like scales. I’m trying to show that commercial beauty {the cucumber} can scar you rather than mask you. The blurb explains it further.
The heat lately has become unbearable and I've been urging myself to carry a water bottle everyday but cant seem to handle the extra load {Not even joking}. Maybe I'll do one of those whats in your bag posts and you'll see how much I carry.
Anyway, I came across this amazing water bottle/toothpaste-esque tube called The ANTI bottle from Vapur. It does everything you need it too, freeze, fold, clip onto your bag and it's eco-friendly and washes easily. It even has a name tag. You cant possibly go wrong with that.
I know I'm doing some major endorsing but since I've become interested in product design, I can't help noticing good design. So let me know if you like it too!
